Slime is every kids favorite thing right now! I love this slime recipe because it’s not overly sticky. And if you make it in advance by a day or two, it really has more the consistency of a soft, gel silly putty until your warm it up with your hands for a while. This is the same recipe I used for my Elf Snot and we love it!

These Slime Valentines can be put in the cutest little heart containers I found on Amazon! They come in a pack of 24 for pretty cheap. I also made the FREE printable heart stickers with cute little saying on them for the tops of the containers. The stickers were made to fit these containers I linked to specifically, but you could use them on little baby food jars or something else if you wanted to use something different.

In the directions I’m going to give you instructions on how to make a triple batch like I did. Each batch does 5-8 little heart containers, depending on how full you want them. I did three colors, and then did eight heart containers for each color and it was perfect. The printable heart stickers also print 24 to a sheet, so everything is designed to work together.

You will need:

3 bottles of glitter school glue (I used three different colors, red, purple, and pink)
For each bottle of glue use:
1 1/4 Tablespoons of Contact Lens Solution with BORIC ACID (this is important…the one I linked to is the one I used)
AND 1 Tablespoon of baking soda
Printable Sticker Paper (this works in any regular printer) for the FREE Printable Heart Stickers
Plastic Heart Containers

In a mixing bowl, add a 5 oz bottle of glitter glue, 1 1/4 Tablespoons of contact lens solution with boric acid, and 1 Tablespoon of baking soda. You can find contact solution with boric acid in the eye care section of most drugstores or Walmart. I use THIS KIND and it works every time without fail. Your best bet is to just buy a generic brand with boric acid listed in the ingredients.

To make the slime for your Slime Valentines, mix the above ingredients together with a silicone spatula. There will be excess liquid in the bottom of the bowl. Mix the slime in your hands, then press it into the liquid, then squeeze it in your hands, then press it into the liquid, and repeat until the slime doesn’t feel sticky anymore.

Once all the slime for your Slime Valentines is complete, pinch of pieces and put it into your heart containers and make sure to click them shut so your slime doesn’t dry out.

Apply one sticker to the top of each heart container. Hand them out at classroom Valentine’s Day parties, or Homeschool Valentine parties, or just give to friends and family. Slime Valentines are fun for kids to make and make a lot in just a few minutes!
